Bio: Cara Rizzi Richman has been involved in over twenty productions throughout the Phoenix metro area. She is currently a high school senior, and is one of the first in the state to earn the Arizona Arts Proficiency Seal on her diploma. Recent onstage credits include Wednesday Addams in “The Addams Family” (Act One Youth Theater), Lucy Van Pelt in “You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown” (Limelight Performing Arts), and the Blue Fairy in “My Son Pinocchio” (Act One Youth Theater). In 2019, she received the National Youth Arts Award for Outstanding Lead Performance in a Musical for her portrayal of the Blue Fairy. In addition to her onstage work, she also has experience offstage, most recently as the hair and makeup designer for “Little Shop of Horrors” at Desert Mountain High School, which earned her a spot as a Finalist at the 2019-2020 ASU Gammage High School Musical Theatre Awards for Best Hair/Makeup. She also likes to write and direct. In May 2019, she directed “Field Trip,” an original musical she wrote, composed, and choreographed, for an annual event at her school called Playfest. When she is not doing theatre or writing, she is cosplaying, filming videos, or spending time with friends.
