Bio: Ian Brininstool is a professional member of Actors Alliance of San Diego and the
Screen Actors Guild (SAG). He studied dance, singing, and acting with Leigh
Scarritt Productions theatre workshop and currently engages in professional
on-camera training with Terry Scott of Acting Professionally. Ian studies
singing with Pandeli Lazaridi of San Diego Small Opera. Ian is ten years old
and enjoys karate, soccer, basketball, reading and writing stories. He has been
active in musical productions since the age of four, performing with the San
Diego Children's Choir, San Diego Junior Theatre (JT), La Jolla Stage Company,
Starlight Theatre, and Lamb's Players Theatre.
For the La Jolla Stage
Company production of Seussical the Musical, Ian played JoJo. Ian played Barry
in the Actors Alliance Festival show of All the Time in the World. During the
summer of 2005 Ian starred in the lead role as Oliver in the Starlight Theatre
production of Oliver!. For the 2005 holiday season, Ian performed at the Bravo
San Diego gala and played Gordy in the Lamb's Players Theatre production of The
Festival of Christmas.
In addition to his theatre work, Ian played Luke
in the film Kid Billy vs. the Kidnappers (Winner of a Silver Telly Award, 2005),
played Rodney in the UPN television series Veronica Mars, and has modeled for
the Rokenbok toy company and Pony Express Creations.
Look for Ian in the
upcoming Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the San Diego Civic
Theatre opening June 13.
