ACT
- San Diego (Actors’ Conservatory Theatre) is proud to announce a Showcase
Performance benefiting The Arc of San Diego. The show will feature some of
San Diego's most talented youth performing melodies from popular Broadway
musicals, performed in groups, duets, and solos. The show is directed by
ACT - San Diego’s Artistic Director Leigh Scarritt, and will take place on
Sunday December 7th & Monday December 8th at 7:00 PM at the Sherwood
Auditorium at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, La Jolla.
ACT
- San Diego is an exciting new theatre company for young people. ACT's
mission is to provide educational and artistic opportunities to young actors to
perform, in a safe, fun, inspiring, yet highly professional environment.
ACT produces youth theatre productions of the highest quality with a production
staff led by all-pro directors, and choreographers.
The
Arc of San Diego has been providing services for people with disabilities and
their families since 1951. The Arc is one of the region's largest human
service agencies, whose mission is to empower persons with disabilities,
and their families by working in partnership to create opportunities to achieve
their individual goals within the community. They have a rich tradition of
developing quality programs for children & adults with developmental
disabilities. All of their programs promote social, economic, and personal
independence.
