Christian
Youth Theater (CYT) students of Temecula will present Treasure
Island, March 2-10 at Fallbrook High School’s Bob Burton Center.
Based
on Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic book, Treasure
Island is an exciting tale of buccaneers and buried gold.
Jim
Hawkins is a young boy living in a sleepy seaside inn who comes across a secret
map that leads to pirates’ buried fortune.
Join Jim as he sails the sea in search of treasure.
Swashbuckling pirates are sure to have audiences on the edge of their
seats!
The
cast includes local actors Nick Redick of Murrieta (Long
John Silver), Spencer King of Valley Center
(Tom Morgan), Preston Manley of Temecula (Jim Hawkins), Rachel King of Valley Center (Meg), Ian Stubbs of Temecula (Captain
Alexander Smollet), and Kelsie Piini of Temecula (Mrs. Hawkins).
Performance
dates for Treasure Island are March 2, 9 and 10 at 7:00 p.m. and
March 3, 4 and 10 at 1:30 p.m. All performances will be held at Fallbrook High
School – Bob Burton Center, 2400 S. Stage Coach Lane, Fallbrook.
All seats are reserved and ticket prices at the door are $11 for ages
3-19 and $13 for adults. Tickets
purchased online or through the CYT Box Office are $9 for ages 3-19 and $11 for
adults, and there are special discounts available for groups of ten or more.
The bargain performance is March 3 at 1:30 p.m.., with all seats on sale
