County Inland, Charlotte’s Web runs March 7- 15 at The Maxine
Theater in Valley Center. The beloved classic novel by EB White comes to life
on stage reimagined with amazing sets, costumes inspired by the animated film
Fantastic Mr. Fox, and music by the famous Sherman Brothers –
it’s a musical the whole family will love!
Join
these talented local youth performers down on Zuckerman’s
farm and discover the touching and miraculous story of Wilbur and his quirky and
endearing barnyard friends. Born a runt and vulnerable, Wilbur was rescued from
an uncertain future by Fern, the farmer’s loving
niece. While enjoying life on the farm with a family of geese and a mischievous
rat, Wilbur is befriended by an extraordinary spider named Charlotte. As Wilbur
grows and with his life once again at risk, Charlotte cleverly conceives a plan
to keep her dear friend from becoming dinner.

CYT is an after-school theater arts training
program for students ages 4 - 18. Since its founding in 1981, CYT has grown to
be the largest youth theater program in the nation with 24 affiliates across the
