WHAT:
Students ages
8-18 of CYT Chicago (Kane County) proudly present
Oliver.
Winner of 3 Tony awards and composed by Lionel Bart, this classic Charles
Dickens story comes to glorious life on stage. With charming characters and
heartwarming songs, Oliver follows the
tale of a boy who dared to ask for more. His journey to find a family takes him
into path of the thief Fagin and his pick-pocket band of ruffians.
The show runs about 2 hours with one intermission. Recommended for ages 8
and up.

Youth Theater is a non-profit, educational theater arts program for students
4-18 in the Aurora, Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kenosha, Lake, McHenry, Oak Park, and
Rockford Metro areas and has approximately 6,000 students per year.
Each area offers summer camps and after-school classes in dance, voice,
drama and theatrical specialties, and performs three fully staged musical
productions per year. CYT is non-discriminatory and welcomes all children.
CYT also offers an inclusion program which assists students with special
needs to participate in classes and productions, as well as CYT@School,
after-school theater arts available to public or private schools.
