Scottsdale, Ariz. (Nov. 2, 2009)
– Just in time for the holiday season, Desert Stages Theatre
presents an original adaptation The
Snow Queen by Gerry Cullity, Fri.,
Nov. 20 – Sun., Dec. 20, based on the
timeless tale by Hans Christian Andersen.
The heartwarming holiday musical fills DST’s mainstage Cullity

redemption, the power of love and breaking the spell of the beautiful Snow Queen
who has the power to heal in time for Christmas.
It all happens amidst a beautiful winter wonderland
of a set, accompanied by rousing holiday songs.
In addition to this mainstage holiday performance schedule at
DST, The Snow Queen
cast will perform musical numbers such as Have
a Happy Christmas, The Bells of Christmas and
Don’t Forget Your Pup at
Christmas at area post offices during
the seasonal gift-shipping crunch, and at
the Phoenix Zoo during the perennially popular ZooLights.
