Fallbrook
Players Presents
"Thoroughly Modern Millie"
With timeless tapping and wonderful flapping, Fallbrook Players production
of Thoroughly Modern Millie promises to be a thoroughly good time for the entire family. The funniest musical you will see this year, the romantic
comedy follows small town Millie Dillmount as she arrives in 1920's New York to see how the other half lives. What starts out as a bold declaration of
her independence turns into a whirlwind of money, romance, kidnapping and tap-dancing stenographers!
Thoroughly Modern Millie plays at the Bob Burton Center for the Performing
Arts on the campus of Fallbrook High School October 2nd - 11th. Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30, with Sunday matinees at 2:00. Tickets
can be purchased on line at www.FallbrookPlayers.com
"There has been such anticipation to see what Fallbrook Players would do
after the huge success of CATS," said producer Jane Stimmel. "With Millie, we have the perfect combination: a show that won 6 Tony awards, many of the
same talented actors who won National Youth Theatre's Best Production of the Year for Luann, along with the same choreographer who won National Youth
Theatre's Best Choreography of the Year for CATS. We chose Millie because people want to go to the theatre to be wowed with huge dance numbers, enjoy
a feel-good story, and to laugh so hard they forget any stress that might be in their lives right now," she added. For more information, visit
