In the merry war of wits, Cupid kills some with arrows, some with traps when Greasepaint Youtheatre presents MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, Sept. 4 – 13.The production directed, by Jody Weiss, is set in the post war 1940’s, when victorious soldiers have returned to their ladies and have now set their sights on love and merrymaking. That is except for Beatrice and Benedick, who would rather exchange witty insults than sweet nothings. When a cruel hoax threatens to shatter the wedding of Hero and Claudio, Beatrice and Benedick are compelled to put aside their differences in the name of love.
