Disney’s
Alice
in Wonderland Jr. is a stage adaptation of the classic Disney animated film.
This faced paced version features updated dialogue and new arrangements of such
classic Disney songs as “I’m Late,” “The Un-Birthday Song” and
“Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah.” Performers of Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr.
will join Alice’s madcap adventures in Wonderland as she chases the White
Rabbit, races the Dodo Bird, gets tied up with the Tweedles, raps with a
bubble-blowing Caterpillar, and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game.
Roles are plentiful for both male and female performers, including three Alices
(small, medium and tall), three Cheshire Cats and dozens of other wonderfully
wacky characters. Because of the episodic nature of the show every
character will have their chance to be the focus of the story.
Partial
scholarships are available to any participant on a “first come/first served”
basis. The application process is initiated by calling Doug Fordyce at 269
313-2795. Parents of scholarship recipients are asked to help out with the
production process by volunteering in some capacity. No child will ever be
turned away simply because of a financial need.
