ON STAGE ACCEPTING REGISTRATIONS FOR MADD CAMP May
20, 2010 (St. Joseph, MI) – Kids On Stage is now accepting registrations MADD
Camp, a summer theatre camp for children entering K-4th grade this
fall. The camp takes place Monday through Friday, June 14-18, from 9:00am
to 4:00pm daily. The camp is located at The Chapel, 4250 Washington
Avenue, St. Joseph. MADD
stands for Music, Art, Dance and Drama. Students rotate between these four
areas of the arts each day. Campers will prepare and perform musical
numbers and dance routines; make their own props, costumes and set pieces. They
will work together to create their own "Fractured Fairy Tale" based on
popular children’s books such as Where The Wild Things Are and The Pirate
Cruncher. The entire camp will proudly take the stage with a Showcase for
family and friends on the last day of camp at 5:30 pm. Registration
fee for the camp is $185 with an Early Bird Discount of $25 for registrations
received on or before June 1. Scholarships are awarded on a first come

Kids On Stage is a performing arts opportunity for school age kids grades 1 thru 12 to grow in self-confidence and communication skills through the preparation and performance of high quality musical productions. Through this process children learn fundamentals of practical theatre, vocal projection, stage presence, basic choreography and make-up. Emphasis is placed on teamwork, self-accountability, commitment, self-fulfillment through hard work and accomplishment and having fun on stage.
