Musical Theatre of Anthem Presents Dear
Edwina Jr.

– Musical Theatre of Anthem (MTA) announces performances for the hilarious and
enduring musical Dear Edwina Jr., which follows the adventures of advice-giver
extraordinaire, Edwina Spoonapple. The talented cast of 10 - 12 year olds from
around the Valley presents the show March 14 – 24 in Anthem. “Dear
Edwina Jr. will be
sure to entertain you through various styles of music from 50’s to Jamaican to
Country Western and more," said Jackie
Hammond, MTA Producing Artistic Director. The
show is directed by Laura O’Meara, vocal directed by Hammond and Ginette
Rossi, and choreographed by Sherry Henderson.
Join Edwina as she directs the kids in the neighborhood in
production number after hilarious production number in her "Advice-A-Palooza"
extravaganza. Written in the style
of Schoolhouse Rock Live! and You’re
a Good Man Charlie Brown, Dear Edwina
Jr. is the perfect girl power musical for a new generation.
Performances
take place March 14, 15, 16, 21, 22 and 23 at 7:00 p.m., and March 16, 17, 23
and 24 at 3:00 p.m. at MTA’s performance space, 42323 N. Vision Way, Bldg. 2,
Anthem, AZ 85086.

Adult tickets are $18 and Students,
