Sleeping Beauty KIDS

– Musical Theatre of Anthem (MTA) announces performances for the popular
musical production, Disney’s
Sleeping Beauty KIDS.
This classic fairy tale comes to life as three fairies – Flora, Fauna and
Merryweather – use their magic to save Princess Aurora from the spell of evil
sorceress Maleficent. Songs
from the beloved film, including "Once Upon a Dream," accompany fun
new songs like "Maleficent!" and "A Little Magic Now" to
bring a fresh telling of the story to a new generation of kids and families. A talented cast of youth ages 6-9 presents the show February
19-22 in Anthem. The production staff includes Director Cydney Trent, Vocal
Director Ginette Rossi, and Choreographer and Production Manager Sarah Brayer.
Jackie Hammond is producing the show.
Performances take place February 19 and 20 at 7:00 p.m., Feb.
21 at 3:00 and 7:00 p.m., and Feb. 22 at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. at Musical
Theatre of Anthem, 42323 N. Vision Way, Anthem, AZ
85086. Tickets may be

Adult tickets are $19 and Students,
Seniors and Children 12 and under are $16. Music and Lyrics by Pyotr Ilyich
Tchaikovsky, George Bruns, Tom Adair, Winston Hibler, Ted Sears, Sammy Fain and
Jack Lawrence.. Music adapted and arranged and additional music and lyrics by
Bryan Louiselle. Book adapted and additional lyrics by Marcy Heisler.
