Musical Theatre of Anthem Presents Disney’s Aladdin KIDSAnthem, Ariz.

– Musical Theatre of Anthem (MTA) announces their upcoming production of Disney’s
Aladdin KIDS, a musical based on the iconic animated film, with an
Academy Award-winning score by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman, and Tim Rice. When
the street urchin Aladdin vies for the attention of the beautiful princess
Jasmine, he uses a genie's magic power to become a prince in order to marry her.
Join Iago, Jafar, the Genie and more for a musical journey filled with magic,
mayhem, and the power of love. Disney's Aladdin KIDS is sure to send audiences
soaring on a flying carpet ride filled with romance and adventure! The talented cast, comprised of award winners and nominees
ages 6-11, presents the show September 15-25 in Anthem. The award-winning
production staff includes Director/Choreographer Cydney Trent, Vocal Director
Jamie Maletz and Stage Manager Sarah Brayer. “This 6-11 year old
production will take audiences on a ‘magic carpet ride’, exploring the full
potential within all of us," said Director/Choreographer, Cydney
Trent. “I’m so excited to take this journey with these amazing kids at
Musical Theatre of Anthem!” Performances take place Thursday – Sunday, September 15-25,
