Guys and Dolls Ovation Theatre/NCSA performs March 11-20, 2016 February

and Dolls rolls into North County courtesy of Ovation Theatre ~ NCSA.
Performances are on March 11, 12, 18, and 19 at 7:00pm, and March 13, 19,
and 20 at 2:00pm at the AVO

thrilled to present the Tony Award Winning Guys
and Dolls, considered by many
to be the perfect musical comedy, as its inaugural production.
Guys
& Dolls ran for 1,200 performances when it opened on Broadway in 1950. Receiving
unanimous positive reviews from critics, Guys & Dolls won a bevy of awards, including TONY Awards,
Drama Desks, and Oliviers. The 52-member cast features
Jenna Steinberg (Encinitas) as the sheltered missionary, Sarah Brown, and Piper
Tompkins of Carlsbad playing the role of the classic show girl, Adelaide.
Dashiell Gregory from Encinitas is the self-assured Sky Masterson, while
Rocco Polanco (Carlsbad) portrays the humorous Nathan Detroit. The eccentric
Nicely Nicely Johnson is played by Dante Velez of Encinitas, Rami Ibrahim
(Encinitas) plays Benny Southstreet, and Jacob Morilak from Encinitas appears as
Harry the Horse. Taylor Bassett (Oceanside)
joins Ovation Theatre’s inaugural show in the role of the intimidating
hustler, Big Jule. Robert Sisson from Vista portrays Lt. Brannigan. Ticket prices are $18 for adults/$13 for children 10 and under
