We also celebrate a year that saw so many young artists either beginning or continuing to make exciting splashes in the arts, including a remarkable number of former NYA award winners and nominees. In 2019 that number exploded to more than 120 that we've heard about including 21 on Broadway, 10 Off-Broadway, 23 on tour, 8 world premieres, 60 in TV Series/Movies, and 14 in major films. The year also saw the third NYA Alum over the past five years to get a Tony nomination (Maddy Bersin as producer), and the first Grammy Award for Alum Arianna Grande. Congratulations to all!
