San Diego – San Diego Junior
Theatre premieres Les Miserables with
the singing talents of 65 young local artists who bring this epic musical to
life.
Directed by San Diego Junior
Theatre Artistic Director Desha Crownover, this show is suitable for audiences
of ages 10 years old to adults. Crownover says of the show’s enduring
popularity, “Les Miserables
continues to mesmerize audiences with its soaring, haunting score and its
universal themes of love and redemption.”
Les
Miserables opens at the Casa del Prado Theatre in Balboa Park on Friday,
July 24 and runs through August 9, 2009. Performances
are at 7 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and at 2 p.m. on Sundays. There will be

San
Diego Junior Theatre has embarked on its 61st season with ten
productions at their sites in Balboa Park and La Jolla. A private, non-profit
