Oh, the Things You Can See in a Really Fun Musical!

In Balboa Park, Junior Theatre Does Seussical! 

San Diego – San Diego Junior Theatre in Balboa Park presents the musical Seussical. Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, along with all the Whos in Whoville, come to the stage in the delightful adaptation of Dr. Seuss' stories.   

Seussical features The Cat in the Hat as he hosts the story of Horton the Elephant guarding a precious egg (and countless Whos) and meeting up with some favorite Dr. Seuss characters. The musical, directed by San Diego Junior Theatre's Artistic Director, Desha Crownover, opens at the Casa del Prado Theatre in Balboa Park on Friday, April 30, and runs through May 16, 2010. Performances are at 7 p.m. on Fridays, and at 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. There will be an ASL-interpreted performance on Saturday, May 15.
