IMPROV: Let’s Make A Scene!

These popular fundraiser events will be hosted by Starlight Community Theater and the popular Jester’Z Improv Comedy Club.  On Saturday, August 8, each show will resemble Television’s “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”  The audience plays an important role in each show: suggestions such as a name, a location, an attitude, an emotion, an accent, maybe a silly secret to be divulged all comes from the audience.  Every scene is unique, and each show is a memorable experience.

Starlight Community Theater and Jester’Z Improv Comedy will be offering an IMPROV Workshop open to ALL.  Improv comedy classes are a wonderful way to explore your own creativity and ways to express yourself.  IMPROV Workshop fee is $35 per person and takes place Saturday, August 8 from 9 am- 4 pm with an hour lunch break.  You can pre-register online at www.StarlightCommunityTheater.com.

There will be two (2) different IMPROV shows on Saturday, August 8 and tickets are $15 for each show.

Auditions to be a cast member in the performances are at 1 pm on Saturday, August 1.  All cast members will be required to register for the IMPROV Workshop for $35 and to purchase a Cast Member T-shirt for $15.

These IMPROV Events will be held at Starlight Community Theater, 1611 W Whispering Wind Drive Suite 9, Phoenix, AZ 85085 (one block south of Happy Valley Road and 17^th Ave, east of I-17, in the North Valley).
