– Valley Youth Theatre’s production of the Tony Award-winning Broadway smash
musical “You’re a Good Man, Charlie
Brown” opens October 16th in downtown Phoenix. Valley Youth Theatre is an award-winning professional theatre
company for audiences of all ages. Directed
by producing artistic director Bobb Cooper and choreographed by Katie Rex Casey,
with musical direction by Mark Fearey.
Experience
a day-in-the-life of everybody’s favorite blockhead, Charlie Brown, in this
colorful musical featuring Lucy, Linus, Sally, Schroeder and of course, Snoopy. From
utter despair to extreme optimism, life for our boy Chuck is anything but
boring. Fasten your seatbelts and
get ready for a rollercoaster ride of musical family fun.
The show includes hot new songs: My New Philosophy and Beethoven Day.
Based on the comic strip “Peanuts” by Charles M. Schulz.
“You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” runs from
October 16th through November 1st, 2009. Performance times are: Fridays at 7:30
p.m., Saturdays at 12:00pm and 3:30pm and Sundays at 12:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
