Now in its 15th Year

A Winnie the Pooh Christmas Tail

December 3 thru 23rd, 2010 

Eeyore, is absolutely miserable. It seems that he has lost his tail, so Winnie-the-Pooh and Piglet organize a search party that includes all the friends in the Hundred Acre Wood. Can they find it in time for the holiday party?  There is a great deal of fun and excitement, plus delightful songs in the adventure that follows. This holiday tradition now in its 15th season, bundles caring, sharing and the importance of cultivating friends, into a very special and enchanting musical suitable for the entire family.  A Winnie the Pooh Christmas Tail opens Friday, December 3 and will run through Thursday, December 23.  

Show Times:

Fridays                 December 3, 10, 17th at 7:30p.m.

Saturdays             December 4, 11, 18th at 11:00a.m. & 1:30p.m.

Sundays                December 5, 12, 19th at 12:30p.m. & 3:00p.m.

Tue/Wed/Thurs          December 21, 22, & 23rd at 10:30a.m. & 1:00p.m.

Valley Youth Theatre named by the Arizona Republic as one of the “Top Ten Places to Become a Future Star” targets young people age 7 – 19 for participation in, and attendance, at quality live theatre productions. VYT’s mission is to inspire young people to be the best they can be, by providing them with lifelong lessons through a wide range of performing arts opportunities. VYT is an award-winning theatre and was recently selected as the Best Arizona Children’s Performing Arts Theatre and received the 2008 Governor’s Arts Award for Arts in Education. Alum include American Idol Jordin Sparks, Disney Channel’s Chelsea Staub, movie actress Emma Stone who starred in “Superbad,” “House Bunny” and “The Rocker” and Broadway Star Max Crumm. VYT is supported in part by the Arizona Commission on the Arts with funding from the State of Arizona and the National Endowment for the Arts. Partial funding also is provided by the Phoenix Arts Commission through appropriations from the Phoenix City Council. Valley Youth Theatre is a member of Theatre Communications Group, the national organization for the American Theatre.
