YOUNG ARTISTS ENSEMBLE ANNOUNCES ITS 36TH Annual Family

Theatre Season

THE SEASON OF OTHER WORLDS

THOUSAND OAKS, CA – Young Artists Ensemble announces its 26th Annual Family Theatre Season: The Season of Other Worlds.  This season transports subscribers of all ages from the Swamp to a remote dragon-guarded Castle, from the deep mermaid-teeming sea up onto shore above where the people are, and from a lazy day on the riverbank down into an amazing Wonderland—each of our shows this season follow an adventurer  searching for a place to fit in.

Beauty is in the Eye of the Ogre as SHREK THE MUSICAL, Jr. finds a mass of fairytale misfits and everyone’s favorite loner ogre, Shrek, as they go off on a journey to rescue a feisty princess, defeat a diminutive despot, and relocate the banished fable-folk out of his swamp.  SHREK THE MUSICAL, JR. performs November 4 – 20, 2016.

Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID, Jr. is a musical undersea adventure.  Family audiences can swim “Under the Sea” with Ariel and her friends as she pines for life on land and the love of a prince. Your favorite Disney Princess, singing the songs you love, and some new ones to boot! The Little Mermaid is also a part of the award-winning Conejo Theatre For Everyone, teaming up YAE kids and performers with special needs for a unique theatrical experience. The Little Mermaid, Jr. will be presented in Theatre in the Round on February 3 – 19, 2017.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND is a series of mad-cap adventures through a wild and whirling world.  Family audiences will fall down the rabbit-hole with young Alice and into a mad, mad world. She must use her wits to navigate through the likes of the Queen of Hearts,

Mad-Hatter, Cheshire Cat, Caterpillar, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, and many more in this wonderfully enjoyable play which performs May 5 – 21, 2017.  ALICE IN WONDERLAND is the third and final production in Young Artists Ensemble’s 36th Annual Family Theatre Season: The Season of Other Worlds.
